Steve Tolbert is a strategist, SEC-qualified financial expert, and transformative leader with 30+ years of experience in institutional and private equity investing and C-suite operations. Currently, he provides consulting and project management services to corporations, nonprofits, and other organizations, specializing in financial advisory, governance, enterprise risk management, and business transformation.

A collaborative leader with strategic foresight, Steve excels in driving growth, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability. His expertise spans corporate and real estate finance, banking, investment management, financial oversight, audit and compliance, M&A, organizational turnarounds, internal controls, and ERP implementations. He has overseen a variety of external audits, cybersecurity enhancements, and complex restructurings, ensuring compliance and operational excellence. Steve also serves as a fractional and interim CFO and COO, delivering results-driven solutions across multiple industries.

Beyond his professional work, Steve is a dedicated mentor and community leader. He supports scholarship initiatives, leads his family’s 4-year college scholarship program, and is committed to developing future leaders.
