Allyson’s background is supporting the financial health and internal operations in nonprofit and small business environments. She manages all facets of nonprofit accounting, including budgeting and forecasting, A/P and A/R, reconciliation, Excel modeling and data analysis. She recently led a nonprofit through its first audit, with zero findings. This began with identifying processes that needed improvement, implementing internal controls and organizing and building systems. She loves to learn and thrives in roles where she can wear multiple hats. She also has experience in HR functions such as payroll, employee onboarding, compliance and employee support.
Allyson is skilled in a variety of platforms, including: QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks online, QuickBooks payroll, Sage Intacct, Excel, Gusto, Bill.com, Divvy (Bill Spend & Expense), Trello, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
Allyson loves to be outside in nature, loves hiking, pickleball, paddleboarding and loves to read.
